Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, rotund jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and back with two large cobalt flowers. Y-shaped hairline on underside, continuing partway up right side of jar's front. Small rim chips. Loss to one handle. Chipping to end of opposite handle.
