One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with pronounced foot and tooled highlights at base of collar and around midsection of collar. Body decorated with a series of brushed cobalt leaves. Collar and edges of spout decorated with cobalt swags. Large loss to spout. Rim chips. Heavy chipping to base. Fry to cobalt.
