Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, ovoid jar with rounded foot, unusual shoulder molding, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and back with two large horizontal tulips. Additional swags hanging from shoulder. Excellent condition with some tiny rim nicks and some staining to surface.
