Scarce Five-Gallon Apollo, PA Stenciled Stoneware Jar, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooeld shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, featuring the stenciled signature "THOS JOHNSTON / MANU'FR OF / STONEWARE / APOLLO, PA". Stenciled "5" at shoulder. Crack in underside, extending several inches onto reverse of jar.
