Two Northeastern U.S. Stoneware Jugs, 19th century, a one-gallon jug with cobalt "1," marked "JULIUS NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," paired with a one-gallon floral-decorated jug, stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.". Norton jug with shallow chip to spout and a few in-the-firing contact marks. Other jug with hairlines in underside, one of which extends a short distance onto base.
