Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, baluster-form jar with rounded foot, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated with two large fan-shaped flowers on the front and back. Scalloped line design under each handle. 1 1/2" hairline from rim. Small chip to end of one handle. 2" hairline at base, continuing onto underside. 1/2" line at base.
