Scarce One-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with lug handles and semi-squared rim, decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design. Y-shaped hairline on reverse. X-shaped hairline under one handle. In-the-firing contact mark at base. Minor wear on interior of rim. H 6 1/2".
