One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, with highly-ovoid body, rounded foot, tooled midsection, and tall cylindrical collar. Profusely-decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design extending around the midsection. Collar decorated with cobalt leaves. Excellent form and decoration. Restored handle. Restored rim and base chips. Restored spout. Some in-the-firing stone pings to surface. H 9 3/4".
