Rare Stoneware Pitcher with Philadelphia Advertising, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and tooled collar, decorated with brushed cobalt flowers and swags surrounding the impressed advertising "MADE FOR / WRIGHT SMITH & PEARSALL / No 5 NORTH 5 ST PHILADELPHIA". Additional leafy brushwork surrounding the collar. Restored handle. Restoration to tip of spout. Minor base nick. Minor stone ping to midsection. H 11".
