One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with flared base and short collar, decorated with a two-stemmed clover design on the front, clovers flanking the spout, and a vertical clover on the spout itself. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. 2" x 1 3/4" piece reglued at spout, with three thin cracks descending from it. Additional 7/8" flake off surface below spout. Faint lines at base of handle and base of pitcher on reverse. 1 3/8" rim flake on reverse with 3/4" hairline (visible on interior only) descending from it. 3/4" salt drip on reverse. H 9 5/8".
