Unusual Five-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Large Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a two-stemmed plant design on the front and back featuring very large clovers. Small chips on exterior of rim and a 2 1/4" shallow chip on interior of rim. Thin crack on underside, extending onto base area in the form a Y-shaped hairline. H 15 3/8".
