Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with rounded rim and large tab handles, decorated completely around with a series of brushed cobalt tulips extending from leafy stem. Additional cobalt stripe below rim. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Sealed 7" crack from rim. Otherwise mint condition. H 12 1/4".
