Five-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Large Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON, / UTICA, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with applied lug handles and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed cobalt design of a flowering plant with large leaves embellished with stripes, spots, and heavily-shaded edges. A minor in-the-firing base chip along with very minor base nicks. Several small rim chips. H 12 1/2".
