Six-Quart Stoneware Batter Pail with Pine Tree Decoration, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, circa 1880, ovoid form with pouring spout and wooden-and-metal bail handle, decorated with a pine tree in the form of looping slip-trailed cobalt lines. Slip-trailed "6" above. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Spout chips. Numerous chips to handle on reverse. Small rim flake. H 11 1/2".
