Westerwald Stoneware "GR" Mug with Incised Decoration, German origin, circa 1760, cylindrical mug with tooled bands and applied Georgius Rex medallion having a raised crown and dotted circle border. Medallion is flanked by incised and cobalt-highlighted leaves. Additional cobalt highlights to initials in medallion and bands at shoulder and base. Incised "6" below rim. Mint condition. H 4 1/2".
