Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO.," Ft. Edward, NY origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed cobalt bird with crest and long tail, perched on a leaf. As-made condition with scattered fry to cobalt. H 10 1/4".
