Small-Sized Westerwald Georgus Rex Ale Mug, German origin, 18th century, with bulbous midsection and heavily-tooled foot and collar, decorated with incised and cobalt-highlighted floral designs with checkerboard interior, extending from and embossed design of crown and the initials "G R," for King George of England. Near mint condition with an in-the-firing contact mark on front and a 1/2" hairline from rim, to right of handle. H 5 1/2".
