Miniature Glazed Redware Spaniel, PA origin, possibly John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840-1880, molded figure of a seated spaniel covered in a lead-and-manganese glaze. A 1/2" base chip and other minor base chips. Wear to face. Some wear to ears and body. A small surface chip to midsection on front. Minor residue to surface. Two in-the-firing fissures ascending base, one of which is glazed over. H 2 1/4".
