Group of Eight Stoneware Articles, Edgefield District, SC, 19th century, four alkaline-glazed churn lids; an alkaline-glazed jar lid; three bisque-fired lid, the largest impressed "4;" a fragment of an alkaline-glazed "SC DISPENSARY" jug, attributed to the Baynham Pottery, Trenton, SC; and a fragment of an alkaline-glazed lid with kaolin slip decoration. Most lids with varying degrees of chipping. Diam. (of lid marked "4") 7 1/4".
