Fine Small-Sized Redware Jug, Galena, IL origin, second half 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base and distinctive tooled spout, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a mottled orange ground. Very nice condition with some light surface-level wear around midsection, a few glaze flakes to shoulder on reverse, a small amount of glaze loss to spout, and some glaze wear to edges of handles. H 7".
