Rare Albany-Slip-Glazed Sewer Tile Bust of Louis XIV, Midwestern origin, late 19th or early 20th century, composed of wheel-thrown and hand-modeled elements including elaborate pinched and applied hair, the surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Provenance: Robert Hunter, Yorktown, VA. Excellent condition with some small chips to hair. H 10 3/4".
