Very Rare Rockingham-Glazed Pitcher, Stamped "S RISLEY / NORWICH," CT origin, mid 19th century, molded pitcher with relief grapevine pattern, decorated in blue, brown, and white slip, against a yellowish-glazed ground. Underside impressed with Sidney Risely maker's mark along with the number, "3." Exceptional glaze treatment. A small chip to side of spout. A 1 1/4" hairline to side of spout. Crazing to underside and base, possibly in-the-firing. H 5 7/8".
