Large-Sized Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX. / HARRISBURG .PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with two large tulips emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Mottling throughout. Otherwise excellent condition. H 18 1/2".
