Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1880, tapering jar with slightly flared "wax sealer" rim, brush-decorated with four stripes. A 5/8" chip to interior of rim. Other minor chips and wear to interior of rim. A 1" in-the-firing flake at base on reverse. H 8".
