Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, brush-decorated with four wide stripes. Two minor base chips. Small chips and wear to interior of rim. Wear around inner rim for lid. Some light staining. H 6 1/2".
