Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with four wide stripes across the front. Two small chips to shoulder molding. Minor nicks to underside of rim. An in-the-firing stone ping below rim. Areas of staining to surface. H 8 1/8".
