Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid-bodied pitcher with moldings to base of collar and flaring rim, brush-decorated in Albany slip with an undulating flowering vine around the body. Stripe and drape designs above. Stripe decoration to handle and highlight to lower terminal. Very nice condition with minor in-the-firing contact marks to rim and a worn spot to Albany slip on lower molding at base of collar. H 6".
