Slip-Decorated Stoneware Spaniel Bank, Midwestern origin, fourth quarter 19th century, molded figure of a spaniel on rectangular base with canted corners and carved coin slot in underside. Surface coated in Bristol slip and decorated with Albany slip highlights. Underside incised with the initials, "A D." Excellent condition with a chip to bottom edge of base. H 7 1/2".
