Brown-Glazed Stoneware Sculpture of Hands, Midwestern origin, probably OH, late 19th century, depicting two clenched fists protruding from a rock-like formation the surface covered in a brown Albany-slip-type glaze over reddish clay. Surface wear. A 1" circular piece of clay that rattles on surface, but cannot be removed. Felt on reverse. Dimensions: 8" x 6 1/2" x 8".
