Rare Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Signed and Dated "Cheever Meaders 1964," Cleveland, GA origin, 1964, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection and flared collar, the surface covered in a mottled, olive-colored alkaline glaze. Underside incised with large Cheever Meaders signature and date. Provenance: Golden Memories Auction, Mountain City, GA, May 26, 2007; Frank W. White Collection. Very nice condition with some rim and base wear. H 9".
