Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "R.C.R. / PHILA.," Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1880, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, brush-decorated around the shoulder with five cobalt foliate designs. Provenance: Herb and Carol Hausmann Collection. Five short, faint lines from rim. A 1/2" glazed-over rim chip. H 8 7/8".
