Scarce Small-Sized Redware Mug with Manganese Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical mug with footed base and tooled shoulder, decorated with heavy manganese sponging under a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Exceptional size and condition. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 3".
