Manganese-Decorated Redware Pitcher, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, ovoid pitcher with coved and footed base, beak-like spout, tooled rim, and spurred handle, decorated with sponged manganese under a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Surface wear throughout. A small rim chip on reverse. H 6 1/8".
