Glazed Redware Tobacco Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jar with footed base, tooled banding, and applied lug handles, the surface decorated with sponged manganese over a mottled orange-to-olive ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Very nice condition with some minor surface wear to jar and light edge wear to handles. H 6 5/8".
