Small-Sized Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, attributed to Pottersville Stoneware Manufactory, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1820-1840, ovoid jug with tooled, flaring spout, the surface covered in a mottled, gray-green alkaline glaze. Provenance: From a fifty-year SC collection Handle broken into three pieces, reglued. Chipping to base. Some light staining. H 10 1/2".
