Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, attributed to the B.F. Landrum Pottery, Horse Creek Valley, Edgefield District, SC, mid 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with tooled spout, the surface covered in mottled brownish to gray-green alkaline glaze. Essentially as-made condition with an in-the-firing fissure at the upper handle terminal. H 15 1/4".
