Rare Copper-and-Cobalt-Decorated Redware Flowerpot, PA origin, circa 1880, flaring pot with rounded rim and separate saucer, the pot coated in a yellowish slip, decorated with spattered copper, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Original saucer coated in matching yellowish slip with rare spattered cobalt decoration under a clear lead glaze. Pot in excellent condition with a few very minor glaze flakes. Saucer with a 7/8" flake on underside along bottom edge, another base chip, and some glaze flaking to its top and bottom edge. H (including base) 5".
