Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, a two-gallon semi-ovoid jug with brushed tulip motif; a one-and-a-half-gallon semi-ovoid jar with brushed tulip motif; and a one-gallon ovoid jar with brushed dotted floral motif. Jug with thin cracks extending from spout to base on two sides, additional crazing to shoulder, and spout chips. Larger jar with rim chips, surface wear, and grease staining to surface. Smaller jar with a few rim chips and some bubbling to cobalt. H (of shortest) 8 1/4".
