Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK PA.," circa 1870-1889, semi-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with a diagonal flower emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 1 3/4" horizontal line to shoulder. Staining to surface. A 2" in-the-firing contact mark reverse and two other minor in-the-firing contact marks to surface. H 13 1/4".
