Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Greensboro, PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, all with stenciled and freehand decoration, a two-gallon jar and three-gallon jar, stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO / PA.," together with a five-gallon jar, stenciled "T.F. REPPERT GREENSBORO. / PA." Two-gallon jar with two minor chips to interior of rim, an overfired area to front, and some light surface wear. Three-gallon jar with a 3 1/4" filled section to rim, a 1 3/4" filled and colored section at base, a minor chip to underside at edge, and staining. Five-gallon jar with crazing throughout bottom half of jar, which is mostly surface level, wear or fry to cobalt, some whitish and other residue to surface, and some minor in-the-firing chipping to one handle. H (of tallest) 16 1/4".
