Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "B.C. MILBURN," Alexandria, VA, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, brush-decorated with circular flower including fern-like devices emanating from the blossoms. Reverse decorated with three tulips. Good decoration and desirable size. A 2 1/4" loss to rim. Smaller rim chips. A few base chips. Some surface wear. H 6 5/8".
