Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Stenciled "Superior.," attributed to A.P Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, both of cylindrical form, a one-gallon jar and two-gallon featuring the word, "Superior.," within a banner. Smaller in very nice condition with light surface wear and a small in-the-firing chip to left side. Larger in very nice condition with a small chip to interior of rim, a small in-the-firing contact mark on left side at base, and a few surface scratches. H (of taller) 11 1/2".
