Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stenciled "E.B. TAYLOR / Richmond, Va.," attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, a half-gallon jug and a one-and-a-half-gallon jar, both with stenciled for the Richmond, Virginia merchant, E.B. Taylor. Jug with light scattered exfoliation to front, a small spout chip, minor nicks to handle, a small in-the-firing chip to handle and shoulder, and an in-the-firing stone ping to shoulder. Jar with staining to surface, light surface wear, a small piece of adhered clay on reverse, the interior of the rim with wear and two chips. H (of jug) 8 3/4".
