Two Half-Gallon Stoneware Jugs with Boston, MA Advertising, NY State origin, circa 1875, both of cylindrical form with tooled spouts, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "John Lyons. / Cor. / Beach. & South. / Boston." Shorter with in-the-firing spout chips, staining to reverse, and some minor wear to cobalt. Taller in excellent condition with a minor spout chip and some staining. H (of shorter) 9".
