Miniature Stoneware Jar with Incised Decoration, Albany, NY origin, early 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with an incised and cobalt-highlighted leaf. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Essentially as-made condition. Two tiny rim chips. One handle with some in-the-firing flaws. H 4 1/4".
