Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "H. MYERS," Henry Remmey, Sr. or Jr. at Henry Myers's Baltimore Stoneware Manufactory, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, ovoid jar with squared rim and footed base, brush-decorated around the shoulder with a continuous leafy garland. A hairline across underside. Base chips. A few in-the-firing contact marks to surface. H 8 3/4".
