Glazed Redware Bowl with Two-Color Slip Decoration, probably PA origin, 19th century, flaring bowl with semi-rounded rim, the glazed interior decorated with a slip-trailed manganese cross and circular devices in the well, horizontally slip-trailed yellow lines intersected by manganese lines around the cavetto, and yellow slip spots on the rim. A top-to-bottom crack from rim, forming a small Y at base. The split of the Y continues 3" along edge of underside in one direction and 3/4" in the other decoration. Light wear to rim. H 2 3/4" ; Diam. 8 1/8".
