Fine Glazed Redware Bowl with Sponged Manganese Decoration, PA origin, 19th century, thinly-potted bowl with rounded sides, flared rim, and recessed, footed base, the lead-glazed surface decorated with diagonal manganese sponging and sponged manganese banding to the rim area. Very nice condition, the rim with small chips and wear, the foot with a minor chip, and the interior base with light wear. H 5 5/8" ; Diam. 11 7/8".
