Three-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1845, ovoid jar with raised shoulder moldings, semi-rounded rim, and arched tab handles, the surface covered in a gray-green alkaline glaze. Chips to one handle. A few short hairlines from rim. A few minor base nicks. H 14 1/2".
