Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Edgefield District, SC, mid 19th century, cylindrical jar with tapered shoulder and flared rim, covered in a dark, gray-green alkaline glaze with runs to one side. Potter's fingerprints at base. Excellent condition with a few minor rim chips. H 8 1/2".
